Now the boys speech is coming along they are getting to be very funny. One of my favourites is the Good news and The Bad news. Started with James coming home from school one day.
'Mummy, do you want the good news or the bad news?'
'The bad news please'
'The bad news is that there is a boy in my class called Corey and he is very naughty.'
'And whats the good news?'
'The good news is that there is another boy in my class called Corey and he is very nice.'
Often we are asked whether we want the good news or the bad news and the answer to the good news request is that, ' There is no good news, only bad news today.'
Considering a year ago they could barely string a sentence together this is a huge step for us. They are growing so fast and saying so much more that I sometimes forget how hard it was for the last three years for them and us breaking through the barriers of communication. Still have to stop myself asking them to be quiet when for so long I wished for chatter.
